Parents Against Crime Coalition Board Members

Chair: Bettie V. Beard – Executive Director/Founder
Mrs. Beard has a background in social work and gerontology. She encourages retired individuals and others to volunteer with PACC and become mentors for parents. Mrs. Beard also works diligently on fundraising with the PACC Advisory Committee.

President: Mrs. Letrice Parks Portley is a middle school principal who assists in planning curriculum development for youth programs and designing evaluations for initiatives while providing leadership for PACC.

Vice President Thaddeus Tate, Veterans Administrator Adjudicator and father/grandfather, focuses on ensuring that children's basic programmatic needs are met and on purchasing supplies. 

Secretary: Sheronda Foreman-Davis is an experienced supply chain transformation leader. Ms. Davis brings strong organizational and policy-building skills to the Board and is also experienced in fundraising and grant writing.

Treasurer: Shala Williams is an educator and real estate developer who encourages all PACC youth and parents to participate in the PACC Reading program. She also aims to initiate a PACC financial literacy program for parents and youth.

Public Relations: Mia Moody is a professor and chair at Baylor University. Her research focuses on the representations of women and underrepresented groups. 

Ex-officio member Gwen Williams serves as PACC’s strong media and public relations representative, networking with other organizations and individuals on behalf of PACC.
